The flow

How it works

From homeowner curiosity to your phone, in four steps.

01

Homeowner gets their score

Free 60-second analysis at SolarScorecard tells them their solar potential, recommended system size, and savings estimate.

02

Sunny qualifies them by SMS

Our AI assistant captures name, location, system type (rooftop / battery / both / commercial), size, and timeline.

03

You receive a lead SMS

Your registered mobile gets a short message with the lead summary and a one-tap claim link.

04

First 2 to claim, win

Tap the link, pay via Stripe, and instantly get the homeowner's contact details + a clean intro. Done.

Pricing

Simple, honest pricing

No subscriptions. No retainers. No volume commitments. You pay only when you claim a lead — through standard Stripe checkout, with instant access to the homeowner's details.

Residential
from $40/lead

Rooftop solar, battery storage, or both. Standard residential homes across Australia.

  • Homeowner name + direct mobile
  • Suburb / postcode + roof orientation
  • System type and approximate size
  • Stated timeline / urgency
Commercial
from $100/lead

Commercial rooftop and battery jobs — businesses, sheds, light industrial.

  • Decision-maker name + direct mobile
  • Site address and approximate size
  • Bill range or load profile (when available)
  • Timeline and any specific notes

No subscription. No upfront. Pay only when you claim. You can pause receiving SMS dispatches at any time by replying STOP.

Exclusivity

Maximum 2 paid claims per lead

Once 2 installers have paid and claimed a lead, it's closed. You're competing with at most one other installer once you've claimed — no 5-way races, no auctions, no race-to-the-bottom pricing.

SMS notifications go to multiple local installers in your area when a lead matches, but only the first 2 to pay get the homeowner's contact details. After that, the lead is locked.

FAQs

Common questions

How much does it cost to join?

Nothing. There are no upfront fees, monthly subscriptions, or retainers. You pay from $40 per residential lead or from $100 per commercial lead, but only when you actively claim one through the SMS we send. If you never claim, you never pay.

How exclusive are leads?

Maximum 2 paid claims per lead. Once two installers have claimed and paid, the lead is closed. SMS notifications go to multiple local installers when a lead matches an area, but only the first 2 to pay get the homeowner's details. So once you've claimed, you're competing with at most one other installer.

How do I receive leads?

Via SMS to the mobile number you register. Each message includes a short summary of the lead (suburb, system type, system size) and a one-tap claim link. The link goes to a Stripe checkout — once you pay, the homeowner's contact details are revealed instantly.

Which areas can I receive leads for?

You nominate the suburbs or regions you cover during sign-up. You can update your coverage at any time by SMS or by emailing contact@solarscorecard.com.au. Most installers cover their local city plus surrounding suburbs.

Can I pause or unsubscribe?

Yes — reply STOP to any dispatch SMS and you'll be removed from dispatch immediately. To resume, just email us. No notice required either way.

What happens after I submit the form?

We verify your CEC accreditation against the public Clean Energy Council register and check your ABN. If everything is in order, we add you to dispatch and SMS you a confirmation. The whole process usually takes 1–2 business days. If we have questions or your accreditation can't be verified, we'll email you.

What if a homeowner doesn't pick up?

SMS them, leave a voicemail, try again the next day. The leads are warm — they've actively gone through our scorecard and chatted with Sunny — but they're still real people with day jobs. We don't currently auto-refund for non-contact, but if a lead is clearly mis-qualified or fraudulent, email us with the lead ID and we'll review it manually.
